IIS 5.0自带NNTP Server权限控制的实例分析 IIS 5.0 comes with an NNTP Server that has a built-in permission control mechanism. This article will analyze an example of how to use this mechanism to control permissions. Suppose we have an NNTP Server installed on a machine with the IP address of 192.168.1.100, and we want to allow only the machine with the IP address of 192.168.1.101 to access it. First, we need to open the "Internet Information Services" management console on the machine where the NNTP Server is installed, and then double-click the "Default NNTP Site" icon under the "Sites" node. In the "Default NNTP Site Properties" dialog box that appears, click the "Security" tab, and then in the "Authentication and access control" section, select the "Only allow NNTP clients that connect from the following IP addresses" option, and click the "Edit" button. In the "Edit NNTP Client Restrictions" dialog box that appears, click the "Add" button. In the "Add NNTP Client Restriction" dialog box that appears, enter the IP address of the machine from which we want to allow access in the "IP Address" field, and then click the "OK" button. Back in the "Edit NNTP Client Restrictions" dialog box, we can see that the machine with the IP address of 192.168.1.101 has been added to the list of allowed IP addresses. We can add more IP addresses to the list if necessary. When we're done, we click the "OK" button. Back in the "Default NNTP Site Properties" dialog box, we click the "OK" button. Now, when we try to access the NNTP Server from a machine with a different IP address, we'll see an error message telling us that access is denied.
